Breitling is now adding two new additions to the Navitimer collection, in new 36 mm and 32 mm sizes for those who also prefer the look and feel of a smaller diameter watch. But these stunning timepieces have much more to offer in addition to their new smaller sizes. Pastel tones, mother-of-pearl and traceable precious materials combine with the Navitimer’s distinctive pearlescent bezel to create timepieces with jewellery-like appeal, giving the legendary sailing watch a versatile elegance ready for any journey you take.
The Navitimer 36 and 32 campaign stars Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, who shares the personal journey that took her from remote South Africa to becoming an international star. Theron’s campaign, NAVITIMER – FOR THE JOURNEY, is part of an intimate series told by Breitling’s ambassadors in their own words.

PURE STYLE CONCENTRATED IN A JEWELLERY FORMAT: THE NAVITIMER AUTOMATIC 36
The 36 mm Navitimer features the pearlised bezel and the iconic circular slide rule (used by pilots as an analogue calculator) that give the Navitimer its unmistakable look. It comes in a trio of elegant metallic-coloured dials (mint green, silver and anthracite) with baton hour-markers, or with a white mother-of-pearl dial set with round-cut “best diamonds”.
As part of Breitling’s “mission to do better”, these diamonds are lab-grown and traceable to accredited producers who have achieved the SCS-007 Sustainability Rated Diamond standard. In addition, the all-gold version is made from “better gold”, traceable to artisanal and small-scale mines that meet the Swiss Better Gold Association’s criteria for social and environmental impact.
All watches in the line that feature better gold, better diamonds or both carry the Origins label, a mark of the integrity of the precious materials used in their manufacture.
The Navitimer 36 is equipped with Breitling’s COSC-certified Calibre 17, which offers three-hand automatic timekeeping.
IMPECCABLE STYLING, EXCEPTIONAL PRECISION: THE NAVITIMER 32
This dazzling new interpretation of the classic aviation watch forgoes the slide rule in favour of a simplified dial design adapted to its slender diameter. The highlight of this small watch is its mother-of-pearl dials in light blue and powdered pink (a first for Breitling), along with classic white. Like the 36 mm size, the 32 mm size uses better diamonds throughout the line and better gold in the all-gold version. All carry the Origins label.
The power of this watch is provided by Breitling’s Calibre 77, a SuperQuartz™ movement of the highest precision which, like all Breitling quartz calibres, has the added distinction of being COSC-certified. It is also water-resistant to 50 metres (5 bar), an impressive performance for a watch of this size.

After 70 years, the Navitimer has transcended its original function as a tool used by pilots to calculate their course. Now, it is a symbol for all those embarking on their personal journey through life.
Breitling celebrates this relevance in the NAVITIMER – FOR THE JOURNEY campaign. It stars the Navitimer Squad, made up of basketball superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, prima ballerina Misty Copeland, aviation pioneer Bertrand Piccard and now Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, who becomes the face of the new Navitimer 36 and 32.
Each member of the squad has been on an incredible journey to reach the top of their field. They have all charted a course that they have stuck to with complete determination. And each of them perseveres on their journey to realise their next aspirations.
